5.00pm We are currently recruiting for a
People Administrator
to join a rapidly growing European technology/engineering business. The role is a fantastic opportunity
for someone currently working in recruitment who is looking to transition into a broader HR/People position. The role will initially be based in central Bristol, before moving permanently to the company's new Swindon site at the end of the year. The Role For the first 612 months, you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition function, supporting a significant volume of recruitment activity as the organisation continues to grow. Over time, the role will develop to provide broader exposure to
HR and People Operations , working closely with the Swindon-based People Partner and wider People team. Recruitment Administration Coordinate recruitment activity from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding Prepare and publish job adverts using the company's recruitment systems Manage candidate applications and maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system Arrange interviews, assessments and meetings, coordinating diaries between candidates and hiring managers Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process Prepare offer documentation and support pre-employment checks Liaise with recruitment agencies and external suppliers where required Maintain recruitment reports, trackers and management information Support recruitment campaigns, careers events and employer-branding initiatives People Administration Maintain accurate and confidential employee records using the HRIS Support new starter administration and onboarding Coordinate leaver administration and exit processes Assist with employee record changes, including promotions, transfers, salary changes and contractual amendments Respond to routine employee and manager queries, escalating more complex matters appropriately Assist with probation reviews and other employee lifecycle activities Produce regular HR reports and people data Maintain HR documentation in line with company policies and UK data protection requirements Handle sensitive employee and candidate information with discretion and professionalism Support pre-employment screening and security clearance processes Assist with compliance awareness training and People Team communications Support audits and compliance activities relating to People processes Work within relevant UK employment legislation and internal governance frameworks About You You will ideally have: Previous experience in HR, People or recruitment administration CIPD qualification or progress towards a CIPD qualification would be advantageous Experience coordinating recruitment processes and arranging interviews Strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel Experience using an HRIS, ATS or other people-management systems A professional and discreet approach to confidential information The ability to build effective relationships with employees, managers, candidates and external suppliers A proactive approach and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team Experience within technology, engineering, aerospace, defence, manufacturing or another regulated environment would be beneficial Salary & Benefits Salary circa Β£30,000 Annual bonus Private healthcare for the individual, with discounted family membership Pension with matched contributions up to 10% 25 days' annual leave Employee reward and recognition platform Cycle to Work scheme Electric Vehicle scheme Hybrid working Monday to Friday, 9.00am
