We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, purpose-driven organisation to recruit a Part-Time HR Advisor on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys working in a collaborative, values-led environment and wants to make a meaningful impact.
The Opportunity
This is a varied and hands-on HR Advisor role with a strong focus on employee relations. Working as part of a supportive People team, you will partner closely with managers to provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice across the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in supporting leaders, improving colleague experience, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues
- Support a wide range of employee relations casework, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment law
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and wider colleague lifecycle activities (e.g. absence, performance, family leave, flexible working)
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, confidently handling sensitive and complex situations
- Contribute to HR projects, initiatives, and training delivery to enhance engagement and development
- Support HR reporting and data analysis to inform decision-making
- Maintain accurate HR records and support day-to-day HR administration
About You
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role, including ER casework
- Confident advising managers and handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work proactively
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience working within a shared services or collaborative HR environment is advantageous
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience
