We are recruiting for an Office Manager to join a rapidly growing, innovative European technology business with an expanding UK presence.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business undergoing significant growth, with a new state-of-the-art facility being established in Swindon.
The Role
This is a varied and high-profile position supporting a growing business unit and its leadership team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, while providing administrative and operational support across a busy and rapidly developing organisation.
Working closely with operational, project management and technical teams, this is a role where no two days will be the same.
You will be a confident, highly organised individual who enjoys working with people at all levels and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including diary management, meeting coordination and minute taking
- Arrange and coordinate business travel
- Organise corporate events, business functions and customer hospitality
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, including supplies, catering and facilities
- Liaise with landlords, suppliers and other external stakeholders
- Coordinate and host customer and visitor meetings
- Support local community engagement and relationships with external organisations
- Assist the HR team with recruitment activity and interview coordination
- Provide project management and administrative support as required
- Help ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally at all times
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in Office Management, Executive Assistance or Senior Administration
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
- A proactive, flexible and adaptable approach
- The confidence to work with people at all levels
- Experience organising corporate events would be advantageous
- Previous exposure to HR/recruitment or project support would be beneficial
- Experience within technology, engineering, aerospace, defence or another technical environment would be advantageous
Salary & Benefits
- Β£36,000 β Β£38,000 salary
- Approx. 8% bonus
