On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Paraplanner. This role is focused on cash-flow modelling, research and client strategy documentation. The Paraplanner works closely with the Head of Paraplanning and financial advisers. The role involves handling confidential client information, preparing strategy documents, and providing analytical support for cash-flow modelling and research.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and maintain electronic client files in line with compliance procedures.
  • Draft strategy documents and suitability letters based on adviser recommendations.
  • Complete application forms and online business submissions.
  • Update client strategy documents as instructed.
  • Receive and act on instructions from advisers following client meetings.
  • Analyse data and produce cash-flow forecasts, research summaries and product comparisons.
  • Liaise with product providers to obtain client asset information.
  • Compile quotes for protection business and submit transfer business.
  • Respond to client queries regarding withdrawals, fund switching and pension drawdown.
  • Support the Client Services team with meeting packs, presentations and post-meeting updates.

The Person:

For this role our client is seeking someone with previous Paraplanning experience. Their ideal candidate is highly trustworthy, detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

  • Proven experience in financial services or paraplanning, including cash-flow modelling and research analysis.
  • Strong understanding of FCA and data protection regulations, with a track record of adhering to strict confidentiality standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing client documents and liaising with advisers and product providers.
  • Proficiency with financial software, Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
