The Company: Our client is a successful and growing legal firm with a head office based in Bristol and other offices based around the South West and Wales. Their clients include those local to the South West and Wales, UK national clients and international clients. They are proud of their highly experienced and knowledgeable lawyers.

The Job: We are delighted to be assisting them with their search for an Experienced Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal based in their Bromsgrove office. Our client is seeking someone with previous experience in residential conveyancing either as a Secretary or Paralegal. In this role you will be providing direct support to the Head of Property Services and work alongside them throughout the residential conveyancing process. You will assist with the drafting of SDLTs, Replies to Requisitions and Transfer Deeds, deal with basic enquiries, produce case management letters and deal with all AML on-boarding procedures. You will also have responsibility for opening and closing files, speaking with agents and clients over the telephone to provide updates and deal with all other duties associated with a Residential Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal position.

The Person: For this role our client is ideally seeking someone with previous experience in residential conveyancing either as a Secretary or Paralegal. It is essential that you have 3+ years experience and a good working knowledge of Residential Conveyancing matters. Our client is also looking for excellent telephone, interpersonal and typing skills. It’s important you are able to prioritise work in a confidential, timely and effective manner using a high degree of self-management and initiative. Being able to work to tight deadlines is also essential as this is a very busy department, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office and case management systems are also essential.

The Benefits: 21 days plus bank holidays, parking, company pension.

The Location: Bromsgrove, 100% office based (with car parking).

The Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

The Salary: Dependent on experience.
