The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Legal PA Commercial and Infrastructure to join their established PA team. In this role you will support lawyers in the Commercial & Infrastructure department with a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks.
This is a varied position that involves managing day-to-day activities, providing high standards of client care, and supporting marketing and business development activities.
Responsibilities will include
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities for lawyers in the Commercial & Infrastructure department.
- Play a key role in delivering excellent client care.
- Anticipate and manage all aspects of diary management.
- Handle internal and external telephone queries and respond appropriately.
- Monitor incoming post and emails and deal with them in a timely manner.
- Arrange meetings, book conference rooms, organise refreshments, and liaise with internal and external attendees.
- Assist with billing and credit-control processes.
- Request cheques and bank transfers as required.
- Organise travel arrangements including booking transport and accommodation.
- Provide general administrative support such as photocopying, printing, sending letters, organising couriers, and data entry.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate record keeping.
- Support marketing activities including preparing pitches and presentations.
- Liaise with business development and marketing colleagues on event arrangements and production of marketing materials.
The Person
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive, and flexible, with confident verbal and written communication skills and a strong team focus.
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, ideally within a legal or professional-services environment. Strong administration experience (diary management and support to managers)
- Good working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
- Willingness to contribute and support others as part of a team.
