On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Buy-To-Let Property Lawyer for their Cardiff office. In this role you will provide expert legal advice and support to clients investing in rental properties. Reporting to the Head of Department and Partners, the position combines client-facing consultancy with case management. You will manage an allocated caseload, ensure timely billing, and contribute to business development through cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Manage an agreed caseload of buy-to-let property clients, delivering advice in line with professional standards.
  • Process cases efficiently, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure prompt billing and diligent collection of outstanding balances.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and commercial relationships.
  • Expand the firm's client base through effective relationship management.
  • Achieve individual new-business, financial, and completion targets.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to maximise the firm's service offering.
  • Use firm procedures and systems to manage cases compliantly and effectively.
  • Allocate your own workload while maintaining high productivity and quality with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Relevant degree or equivalent, with post-graduate qualification(s). Qualified Solicitor, or comparable experience in commercial property law. Proven track record in client management and fee-earning within commercial property. Recent experience handling client enquiries face-to-face and by telephone.

Competitive salary, depending on experience, with a firm-wide bonus scheme.

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Cardiff office, with office-based work.
