The Role On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Contract Paralegal . This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 3β6 months. The role is based in a Bristol office and is on-site. You will manage fee-earning case work end to end and take responsibility for your own allocated matters, working within resourcing thresholds and under supervision. You will support case progression, client service, and financial accuracy while contributing to continuous improvement within the team. Responsibilities will include Manage fee-earning end-to-end case work and take ownership of allocated matters under supervision. Prepare documentation and liaise with clients, customers, and third parties to progress cases within SLA. Draft correspondence and review incoming correspondence from third parties. Manage key dates and deadlines accurately. Update the Peppermint system to ensure data capture and MI reporting are accurate. Deliver excellent client service through effective case management. Manage matters financially with strong attention to billing and financial hygiene. Support continuous improvement and change initiatives within the team. Work within regulatory and industry frameworks, policies, and procedures. Maintain a positive culture and act as a role model within the team. The Person The successful candidate will be organised, accurate, and confident managing a busy caseload. You will have a strong client-service approach and the ability to work well under supervision while taking responsibility for your own matters. Experience in paralegal or fee-earning casework is desirable or a legal degree Strong written communication skills, including drafting correspondence. Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to manage deadlines, key dates, and financial processes. Confident using case management systems and working within set procedures. The Hours Monday β Friday 9am β 5pm The Salary Β£26,500. The Contract: 3-6 months The Location: Central Bristol, no car parking
