Our client is a small, busy claims handling team based in the wider Bristol area. They value enthusiasm and a proactive approach, and work closely with a range of insurers, clients, and third parties to support the efficient handling of claims.
The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Business Development Manager. This role is responsible for developing relationships; you will use your existing network to introduce the client's services, onboard new partners and ensure smooth delivery alongside internal claims and operations teams. You will take ownership of consistent business growth, stay ahead of market trends and act as a trusted advisor to broker partners.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop, manage and convert relationships with motor insurance brokers.
- Leverage your existing network to introduce our client's services and generate immediate opportunities.
- Identify and onboard new broker partners for credit hire and repair services.
- Act as a trusted partner to brokers, ensuring they understand the full value of the offering.
- Drive consistent new business activity and revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal claims and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity and opportunities within the motor claims space.
The Person:
Our client is seeking a self-motivated business development professional with ideally strong relationships in the motor insurance broker market and a proven track record of generating revenue.
- Proven experience in business development within the motor insurance, credit hire or claims space.
- Established network of motor insurance brokers that can be actively engaged.
- Track record of generating new business and meeting revenue targets.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and convert opportunities quickly.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
The Salary: £40,000 with OTE of £60,000 (uncapped OTE)
The Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm
The Location: Hambrook, Bristol with travel around the South West
