The Role On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.
This role is well suited to a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive who can confidently manage their own caseload and deliver an excellent client service.
Responsibilities will include Manage a full caseload of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, assignments, and refinancing.
Conduct detailed title investigations, raise enquiries, and resolve legal issues proactively.
Order and interpret property searches, including local authority, environmental, drainage, and utilities searches.
Prepare and submit Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns and Land Registry applications.
Ensure all work complies with SRA/CLC regulations, anti-money-laundering requirements, and internal risk management procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date file notes using digital case management systems.
Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the commercial property department.
The Person The ideal candidate is an organised, commercially aware and client-focused property professional who can independently manage a busy conveyancing caseload.
Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive (CILEx).
Experience using LEAP case management software.
Office based.
