The Company: Our client is a rapidly expanding law firm offering a wide range of business and personal legal services provided by experienced lawyers. With a head office in Bristol and additional offices across the South West and Wales, the firm supports a diverse client base, including local, national, and international clients. The practice is built around highly experienced and knowledgeable lawyers who make intelligent use of technology and provide a competitively priced, personal service.

The Job: On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Administrator or Legal Secretary to join their Private Client team. This is a full-time, office-based position. The role involves generating client engagement letters, preparing documents, using online legal portals, and liaising with clients to take instructions and progress matters.

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Arranging appointments
  • Taking messages
  • Covering general incoming calls
  • Franking and sending post
  • Taking client payments

The Person: The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with good IT and time management skills and a professional approach to client service. Previous administration experience is essential. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good time management skills. Friendly and professional approach when dealing with clients.

The Benefits: Pension, 21 days holiday, plus 1 additional day for birthday and long service after 5 years.

The Location: Fishponds, Bristol BS16 (office based)

The Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (with 1 hour for lunch)
