We’re seeking a Senior Account Leader who can spearhead large-scale transformation projects and take our shared service centre (SSC) and GBS strategies to the next level. Role Overview: As a Senior Account Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the development of shared services and GBS strategies for clients across the globe. You’ll be responsible for leading complex transformation projects, implementing target operating models, and overseeing the seamless migration of processes. With a strong focus on automation, process optimisation, and efficiency improvements, your leadership will be key to delivering success for our clients at the global level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Large-Scale Transformation Projects: Take full ownership of end-to-end GBS/SSC build and transformation initiatives, guiding them from greenfield to maturity.
- Develop Global Operating Models: Design and implement global Target Operating Models (TOM) for shared services and various operational functions.
- Drive Business Transformation: Champion initiatives in automation (RPA), process optimisation, and organisational change to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee Process Migrations: Manage the migration of processes across multiple regions, ensuring seamless transitions and operational effectiveness.
- Service Delivery Management: Oversee service delivery across multiple functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, and Legal within shared service environments.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering strategic recommendations for improving operations and driving change.
- Due Diligence and Process Assessments: Lead due diligence efforts, conduct process assessments, and perform fit-gap analysis for GBS/SSC implementation.
- Business Development: Support business development by engaging with potential clients, delivering proposals, and securing new transformation projects.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead high-performing teams that foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Ensure Best Practices: Maintain adherence to industry standards, best practices, and compliance frameworks within shared services operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven Leadership: Extensive leadership experience in GBS, SSC, or business transformation roles, with a track record of successfully leading transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in SSC/GBS Operations: Deep knowledge of GBS/SSC set-up, optimisation, and expansion across various functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, and Legal.
- Experience in Automation & Process Migration: Strong background in driving process migrations, automation (RPA), and operational efficiency improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills, particularly at the C-suite level.
- Operational Knowledge: In-depth understanding of process standardisation, service delivery frameworks, and operating models.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with automation tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and data analytics solutions.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, or Agile certifications are desirable.
- Commercial Acumen: Identifying growth opportunities within accounts and proposing commercial models that create mutually beneficial outcomes.
