We are seeking a professional, organised, and friendly Legal Receptionist to join our busy and welcoming law firm client based in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in maintaining the firm’s professional image while supporting solicitors and administrative staff with day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Managing incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and legal documents
  • Managing meeting rooms and preparing refreshments when required
  • Assisting with general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information professionally
  • Supporting the wider legal team with office administration tasks

Requirements

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and general office systems
  • Experience within a legal or professional services environment is advantageous but not essential
