The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax professional to step into a Manager-level role with real responsibility and visibility. You’ll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, working on complex compliance matters while also gaining exposure to advisory work and playing a key role in developing junior team members. It’s a position that offers both technical depth and career progression.
Role
- Managing a portfolio of corporate clients and acting as their main point of contact
- Reviewing corporation tax returns and overseeing tax computations
- Ensuring accurate and timely submissions in line with HMRC requirements
- Liaising with HMRC on queries, audits, and compliance matters
- Identifying tax risks and implementing appropriate controls
- Supporting tax accounting and reporting, including tax provisions
- Assisting with advisory projects such as restructuring and international tax matters
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in UK corporate tax compliance
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and statutory accounts
- Experience managing a client portfolio independently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and workloads effectively
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience (highly desirable)
