  • Analyse multi-year bank statement data, categorising transactions and identifying unexplained payments, personal expenditure, misfeasance, or preference claims
  • Interpret company accounting records including Sage exports, trial balances, and supporting financial documentation
  • Assess the strength and recoverability of assigned insolvency claims prior to legal action
  • Prepare concise, well-structured investigation summaries to support solicitor-led recovery proceedings
  • Liaise with insolvency practitioners, accountants, legal teams, and other stakeholders to progress cases efficiently
  • Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial investigation and analysis

About You

You’ll be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling large volumes of financial information independently in a remote environment.

Essential Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of the Insolvency Act 1986 and corporate/personal insolvency processes
  • Experience in financial investigation, insolvency case administration, asset recovery, or related fields
  • Ability to interrogate bank statements, accounting records, and financial data sets to identify actionable findings
