📍 Location: London based

💷 Package: Competitive salary (up to 85k circa) + bonus (10/15%) + benefits

We’re seeking an experienced engineering professional to take ownership of our client’s large operational fleets. Based in London and joining a growing team of fleet specialists, you will have day-to-day responsibility for passenger service fleets, working closely with the operator, manufacturer, and maintainer to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance.

This is a high-impact role supporting the Engineering Directors, where you will play a key part in upholding the highest standards of operational performance, safety, and functionality.

🔑 Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with Operator, Maintainer, and Manufacturer to drive fleet performance and reliability.
  • Monitor and audit maintenance delivery to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance optimisation strategies to reduce lifecycle costs.
  • Manage the maintenance reserve process with Operators, ensuring balances meet end-of-lease requirements.
  • Lead contract management of Manufacture & Supply Agreements and Leases, ensuring deliverables are achieved.
  • Oversee and approve engineering changes to fleet units.

👤 Personal Attributes & Experience

  • Chartered Engineer (strong preference).
  • Proven expertise in risk management and contract negotiation.
  • Experienced in large operational fleets.
  • 8+ years’ experience in an operational or engineering fleet environment, with strong asset management knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management System procedures relevant to fleet operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder and supplier management.
