Alexander Lloyd is delighted to be partnering with an East Sussex based organisation, on the recruitment of an HR Generalist.
This is an initial 6-month FTC, with the view of going permanent after.
Hybrid role with 2 days on site in Bexhill, East Sussex.
Duties:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters.
- Oversee and manage the employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Support employee relations matters, such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance the workplace culture.
- Maintain and manage HR systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Collaborate with line managers to support talent management, employee engagement, and training and development plans.
- Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Support HR projects, including wellbeing initiatives, diversity and inclusion strategies, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience managing employee relations cases with professionalism and confidentiality.
