ALEXANDER LLOYD is delighted to be partnering with a well-known organisation on the recruitment of their Head of HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including retention, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance and development, engagement, and organisational change.
Duties:
- Design and execute a regional people strategy that aligns with both local business goals and the broader HR direction of the organisation.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Managing Director and senior leaders, offering strategic input and constructive challenge on all workforce matters.
- Guide and support the regional HR team, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and strong service delivery.
- Lead efforts in workforce planning, talent management, and succession strategy to build future-ready capabilities.
- Champion initiatives that enhance employee experience, drive engagement, and support a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring they are streamlined, equitable, and reflective of the company’s employer brand.
- Provide senior-level expertise on complex employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Support change management efforts across the business, including restructures, TUPE processes, and the integration of newly acquired entities.
- Maintain accurate HR data to enable evidence-based decisions and regularly report key insights to senior leadership.
- Play an active role in the Group HR leadership team, contributing to the development and rollout of enterprise-wide HR programmes and policies.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven HR leadership experience in a divisional or business unit setting.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategy with operational goals.
- Significant experience in managing complex ER cases and supporting change.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an HR team.
- Experience working in operationally intensive, multi-site environments.
- Experience in unionised environments or with collective agreements.
