We at Alexander Lloyd are proud to be partnering with a leading employer in West Sussex in their search for a Finance Business Partner. This is a newly created role to partner the wider Sales teams across the business focusing on all aspects of costings, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, ensuring strong financial management and continuous improvement. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your expertise will shape business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Decision-Making: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide actionable insights that directly influence key business decisions.
  • Translate Financial Complexity: Clearly communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders across all levels, ensuring understanding and alignment.
  • Optimise Product Profitability: Deliver strategic cost analysis and recommendations for new and existing products, impacting profitability from concept to launch.
  • Champion Financial Influence: Proactively challenge and shape business decisions through effective stakeholder engagement and financial expertise.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate potential financial risks and issues before they impact the business.
  • Foster Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to drive a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team and across the organization.
  • Enhance Budget and Forecasting Accuracy: Oversee, coordinate, and challenge budget and forecasting submissions to ensure accuracy and drive effective financial planning.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification: ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
  • Executive-Level Business Partnering: Proven experience partnering with Directors and senior leadership.
  • Manufacturing Expertise (Desirable): Experience in a business partnering role within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency: Strong command of Excel and general IT systems.
