About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Pension Rectification Projects to lead teams delivering GMP-related solutions to UK-based Defined Benefit (DB) pension clients. This includes actuarial services, reconciliation, equalisation, and rectification work.

In this leadership role, you will champion service excellence, guiding your teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions while ensuring all client projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and line manage a team of Actuaries and Pension Technicians, providing clear strategic direction and support
  • Deliver actuarial and pensions advice to clients on technical, investment, administration, and legislative matters
  • Contribute to the development of actuarial policy relating to pension scheme valuations, financial reporting, and legislative changes
  • Support and enhance processes for pension scheme administration
  • Provide peer review, sign-off, and mentoring to actuarial and technical staff
  • Contribute to business development, including sales activity and presentations to support revenue growth
  • Manage operational budgets and ensure accurate forecasting aligned to business objectives

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience leading and managing teams of technical pensions subject matter experts
  • Strong knowledge and experience within the GMP space
  • Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Commercial awareness, including budgeting and forecasting experience
