Personal Client Taxation Manager WHF HYBRID ROLE IF DESIRED FULL OR PART HOURS Our client is a well-respected firm of Accountants with a fantastic reputation who offer a great working environment. The newly created position offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work with an incredibly broad range of clients. You could be currently working in a small practice doing an all-round mixed role and wanting to specialise or in larger practice and wanting that next step into management. Responsibilities • Preparation and submission of tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including reviewing tax returns of juniors • Speaking with clients and prospects (over the phone) answering tax queries • Assisting in preparation of written private client tax advice in report format to clients • Various ad hoc work as and when it arises Although this role is compliance-based, there is the scope to work within other areas and get more involved in advisory as your role develops. The client is happy to tailor the position around your skill set and can offer good future progression and development. Person Specification: • Preferably ATT qualified • Previous exposure within a similar role working in practice • Strong technical tax knowledge and practical expertise within the private client tax arena, with demonstrable broad experience of the tax • Some experience in identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients and across other service lines would be advantageous.
