Our client is a small business based near Castle Donnington. They are seeking an experienced Book-keeper to join their friendly team. This is a great role which offers plenty of variety and interest, working in a lovely environment in an established business. The position would suit an individual with a strong accounting background. Experience of working in property or lettings is advantageous but not essential.
Lettings:
- Print off bank statements (Daily)
- LL payment schedule (on excel)
- Enter Tenants and Landlord Payments on Alto (Property Management software)
- Batch payments
- Pay LLs
- Pay contractors and note commissions due to Marble
- Annual tax returns for landlords
- Reconcile all accounts and software
Sales:
- Raise and check invoices on Exchange and issue to solicitors
General Office:
- Create commission spreadsheets from agreed Ts and Cs
- Check salaries
- Issue payslips
- Input invoices on to Quickbooks
- Pay VAT / PAYE / Pension amounts
- Liaise with accountants
- Budget with MD (weekly)
- Pay Contractors as part of office overheads
- Order stationary from Amazon and Derby co and visit Go to Costco (twice a year)
- Petty Cash items and office sundries
Health and Safety:
- Annual meeting with Peninsula
- Adhere to checklists with regard to H & S
- Maintain personal records
