Are you a PR professional who loves securing media coverage and wants the flexibility of a part-time role?

We're looking for an experienced Public Relations Executive to take ownership of media relations and earned media activity for a well-established professional services business.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll identify newsworthy stories, build relationships with journalists and generate high-quality coverage across national, business and trade media.

This is a hands-on role with genuine autonomy, offering the opportunity to shape PR activity and deliver visible results.

The Role

You'll be responsible for

  • Identifying and developing compelling news stories and feature opportunities
  • Pitching stories, comments and expert insight to journalists
  • Writing press releases, articles and other PR content
  • Building and maintaining strong media relationships
  • Securing high-quality coverage across relevant publications
  • Monitoring media activity and industry developments
  • Helping raise brand awareness and support wider marketing objectives

About You

We're looking for someone who

  • Has experience in public relations
  • Can demonstrate success in securing media coverage
  • Is a confident writer with excellent communication skills
  • Enjoys building relationships with journalists
  • Is proactive, organised and capable of working independently
  • Brings fresh ideas and a strong news sense

Experience within B2B, professional services, business, property or commercial sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
