Responsibilities:
- Managing the operations/production team from the company’s factory in the West Midlands
- Ensuring the optimal use of resources to deliver high-quality vehicles on time and within budget
- Driving the efficiency of operations and ensuring that continuous improvement is a part of the team’s culture
- Overseeing production, quality, planning, stock control and facilities management within the operations department
- Setting annual budgets and being responsible for the overall P & L for the operations department
- Writing monthly reports and carrying out all related and necessary administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a senior operations management position within a specialist vehicle manufacturing environment
- Experience can come from industries such as Commercial Vehicles, Material Handling, Construction Equipment or similar
- Demonstrated previous success within a similar position and strong management skills
- Highly analytical and determined to hit KPI’s
- Must be based within commutable distance of the company’s head office in the West Midlands as the role will be entirely site-based
