A leading supplier of Commercial Vehicles is seeking a HGV Technician to carry out maintenance at their depot in Reading. With a competitive base salary and overall benefits package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician or an LCV Technician interested in training on HGVs.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance of HGVs from the company’s depot in Reading for customers in the surrounding areas.
  • Working closely with repairs teams in carrying out diagnostics of HGVs.
  • Maintaining all related administrative tasks to include completion of records, documentation and paperwork.
  • Ensuring that the highest levels of Health & Safety, Compliance and quality are adhered to.
  • Working closely with the rest of the workshop team and the Manager.
  • Representing the company in a professional manner when communicating with customers.

Requirements:

  • Ideally a qualified HGV Technician holding an NVQ level 3 or equivalent, although an experienced LCV Technician interested in working on HGVs will also be considered.
  • Must be based within commutable distance of Reading.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience (Up to £45,000).
  • Overtime paid at time ½ over 40 hours.
  • 4 X death in Service.
  • 20 days holiday plus an extra day for birthday.
  • Flexibility on working hours.
