A leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions is looking to recruit a Graduate/Junior Project Manager to manage ongoing racking projects across Yorkshire and the UK. With a competitive salary and opportunity for progression, this is a great opportunity for a design engineer, project coordinator or project/construction management graduate looking to get into project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the company’s projects to fit customers’ requirements for racking and storage.
  • Creating project plans to fit with the expectations of the company’s clients; liaising with them throughout the duration of the project.
  • Working closely with manufacturers of racking, flagging up any issues throughout the timeline of project delivery.
  • Overseeing cost management and working with external contractors to maximize the efficiency of project completion.
  • Visiting sites regularly across Yorkshire and the rest of the UK to liaise with clients and oversee project progress.

Requirements:

  • The company is open to exploring different types of candidates such as someone working within the racking & storage industry who wants to get into project management.
  • They would also be interested in speaking to graduates who have qualifications in project/construction management or similar.
  • Another option would be someone with project management experience from a closely related industry.
  • The ideal candidate would be based within commutable distance of Wakefield as there will be an expectation to attend the office.
