Agricultural Field Service Engineer in Thetford

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading agricultural machinery dealer, who are looking to employ several new field-based engineers to service their client base across East Anglia. Responsibilities Work on servicing the full range of agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, forage harvesters and many more  Have the ability to use a laptop just as much as the hands-on work Developing a knowledge of a wide variety of equipment within a technically developing fleet Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure all equipment servicing is carried out efficiently  Representing the company in a professional manner whilst visiting different clients Requirements  The company has a preference for an individual from an agricultural background, but this is not essential. They are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including heavy plant and commercial vehicles and other related sectors provided you have strong experience and/or relevant qualifications. You will have excellent communication skills and be willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills. Furthermore, the candidate will also be required to work overtime during peak periods.
