A leading manufacturer and integrator of Warehouse Automation products is looking to bring on a Systems Integration Engineer to work on projects across the UK. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong, technical background in Warehouse Automation and an understanding of software.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the business’ designs for automated solutions are achievable and fit the customer’s requirements.
- Working closely with the sales and design teams during the sales phase of the process to ensure the validity of the projects.
- Providing technical advice on projects and supporting the development of solutions whilst assisting in balancing risk mitigation and competitiveness.
- Advising project and design teams on any design modifications that are required on projects from mechanical designs to WMS functionality.
- Supporting the project management team throughout the full life-cycle of the projects.
- Assisting with on-site testing/commissioning and client management.
Requirements
- Experience in engineering management within an automated solutions design role.
- A basic understanding of software used within automation and good commercial acumen.
- Must be based within commutable distance of the office in Nottingham as there will be an expectation to attend the office.
- Must hold a full UK driver’s license as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country on a regular basis.
