Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with an international provider of fully automated and semi-automated pallet shuttles seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team working with customers across the East Coast of the US. With a competitive base salary and the chance to work for an American manufacturer, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Solutions Engineer working within the Intralogistics sphere.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with clients in order to gain an understanding of their technical requirements and business goals
  • Using AutoCAD and other design software to develop solutions to fit the client’s requirements for pallet shuttle systems
  • Working closely with the sales team both pre and post-sale to create product demos and proof of concept
  • Articulating designs and concepts to customers in a concise manner
  • Addressing customer concerns throughout the timeline of the project and adjusting designs as and when required

Requirements

  • The company are ideally looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer who has previously worked on pallet shuttle projects. This isn’t however essential, they would also be open to Solutions Engineers who have worked with other automated/semi-automated products and have a strong understanding of Intralogistics and Material Handling.
  • Vast experience using AutoCAD and other design software is vital for this position.
  • In terms of location, you will need to be based somewhere within the Eastern Time Zone. The role will be remote but there will be some requirement to travel to customer sites and to the company’s office in Florida.
