ALEXANDER JAMES RECRUITING is currently looking for an experienced sales professional to work for a well-established supplier of various specialist commercial vehicle and material handling products to cover and develop their client base across the North of England. With a package to include a competitive salary and unrivalled commission scheme within their sector, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly commercial sales professional who has the ability to sell high value equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Managing an existing client base across the North of England.
- Business development across these areas in selling a variety of specialist heavy/big trucks, reachstackers, container handling and other handling equipment.
- Liaise heavily with an internal sales person to provide ongoing customer engagement.
- Work heavily with the Managing Director to strategically acquire new customers and calculating and achieving high margins.
- Account manage effectively by ensuring customers' service requirements are being met adequately by the engineering team.
Requirements:
- Our client is seeking an individual with a strong appreciation of capital equipment products and crucially able to understand the nature of the role in terms of a high value, low volume sales process.
- You will preferably have experience of selling material handling equipment, agriculture, commercial vehicles, heavy plant or similar and are able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen.
- Our client requires an individual able to work with customers over a long period of time and who appreciates the technical aspects of the products they sell as well as the ability to work on their own initiative in a strategic manner.
- Given the role is in the North of England you will ideally be based anywhere from the East Midlands upwards.
