A dealer manager is sought for a field-based role across the North of England in the material handling industry. This position offers a strong package and is ideal for either a material handling professional or someone with experience in another dealer network.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop relationships with material handling dealers across the North of England.
- Assist the forklift dealers with their business plans and strategies, including quotation, pricing, and technical support for forklift products.
- Coordinate, report, and monitor marketing and sales support for the network.
- Visit dealer sites to assist with requirements and continue to develop dealer relationships.
- Attend trade shows, customer events, and OEM marketing campaigns as a brand ambassador.
Requirements:
- Ideally, you will be an experienced professional from within the material handling sector with experience working with an existing dealer network.
- Individuals from motive power/batteries, cleaning equipment, or forklift attachments may be considered.
- The company will also consider individuals from different industries, provided they have experience in a similar role with a dealer network or material handling professionals from different backgrounds.
- You must be a highly commercial individual with an understanding that this is a strategic role requiring the development of detailed business plans and strong dealer relationships.
- Location: You must be based in the Midlands or North of England, with travel required across these two regions.
