Alexander James Recruiting is working with a UK based manufacturer & distributor of warehouse racking & automation products seeking a project management professional to oversee project delivery across the UK. With a competitive salary and overall package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced technical project manager working within intralogistics or a related industry. Responsibilities Managing projects to fit customers’ requirements for racking, automation and other related products Creating project plans to fit with the expectations of the company’s clients; liaising with them throughout the duration of the project Working closely with manufacturers of racking and automated products, flagging up any issues throughout timeline of project delivery Overseeing cost management and working with external contractors to maximize the efficiency of project completion Visiting sites regularly across the UK to liaise with clients and oversee project progressRequirements The company are ideally looking for an individual with experience of managing projects within the Racking & Storage sector. This isn’t essential however, a strong project management candidate from another industry such as fit outs, fabrication, shopfitting or similar could also be of interest. In terms of location, the ideal candidate would be based within commutable distance of West Yorkshire as there will be an expectation to work from the office. A full UK driver’s license is also a requirement as the position will require national travel.
