A national supplier, manufacturer and installer of mezzanine floors is looking to bring on a structural design engineer. The role will support clients across the country in designing mezzanine floors to fit their specific requirements. This is a great opportunity for an experienced design engineer working within structural steel and have used Advance Steel and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities:

  • Using Advance Steel and AutoCAD to design mezzanines and floor layouts for a customer base across the UK.
  • Collaborating closely with both internal stakeholders and customers to ensure the best solution is provided to fit the clients’ requirements.
  • Ensuring that all designs align with current building regulations.
  • Attending sites across the UK as and when required to carry out site surveys.
  • Communicating with the customer throughout the duration of the project.

Requirements:

  • Experience using both Advance Steel and AutoCAD in a professional setting.
  • It is highly preferable to have designed mezzanine floors, but experience designing other steel structures would also be of interest.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a HNC/HND or a degree in an engineering discipline.
  • A UK driver’s license and being located within a commutable distance of Nottingham.
