Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established yet vastly expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Head of Key Accounts in the UK and liaise with International Key Accounts Managers to leverage strategic relationships. With an excellent package on offer and scope for growth, this is a great opportunity for a commercially astute material handling management professional.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of UK based Key Account Managers
- Liaise heavily with International KAMs across Europe in order to leverage existing strategic relationships with a view to winning UK customer accounts
- Assist in producing and working with tenders to win new business
- Be the go to person in the Key Accounts team to assist with customer queries, issues and pipeline management
- Show strong commercial aptitude and work heavily with the Sales Director to achieve given sales targets
Requirements
You will be a proven material handling industry professional with previous management experience. An aspect of the role is working with International Key Account Managers within the business utilizing strategic relationships and transferring these relationships into UK based sales. With that in mind, it is crucial this individual has the ability to work at the strategic, national/key account level. Occasional international travel may also be required to Europe from time to time though naturally the main focus will be on the UK team.
