A well-established, expanding material handling company is looking to bring on a new Service Manager to oversee their field-based engineers and service staff across the West Midlands. With a competitive salary plus numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift Service Manager or a team leader looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of field-based engineers across the Midlands
- Overseeing the rest of the service team inclusive of workshop engineers, service administrators and service controllers
- Visiting customers to ensure service levels are consistently maintained and improved where possible
- Being the first point of contact for customers with regards to service contract queries/issues
- On-boarding new engineers, assisting with training and development
- Working closely with the senior management team with the general day to day running of the business
Requirements:
The company are open to a number of profiles for applicants. If you have service management experience within the material handling industry, this would be ideal but not essential. They would also consider applicants with service management experience within a related industry such as automotive, commercial vehicles, agriculture equipment, plant hire or powered access. Another option would be an experienced Service Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Worcestershire.
