A leading supplier of Commercial Vehicles is seeking a HGV Technician to carry out maintenance at their depot in Grantham on a rotating shift pattern. With a competitive base salary and overall benefits package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician looking to get into a new role.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance of HGV’s from the company’s depot in Grantham for customers in the surrounding areas.
- Working closely with repairs teams in carrying out diagnostics of HGV’s.
- Maintaining all related administrative tasks to include completion of records, documentation and paperwork.
- Ensuring that the highest levels of Health & Safety, Compliance and quality are adhered to.
- Working closely with the rest of the workshop team and the Manager.
- Representing the company in a professional manner when communicating with customers.
Requirements
- You will ideally be a qualified HGV Technician holding an NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- It is essential that you are able and willing to work a rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday working 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm on alternating weeks.
- You will need to be based within commutable distance of Grantham.
Benefits
- Competitive salary dependent on experience (Up to £40,000).
- Overtime paid at time ½ over 40 hours.
