A leading provider of industrial batteries and related products is looking to bring on a new Field Service Engineer to cover Scotland. With a competitive salary, company van and bonus on offer, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with an electrical background.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing the company’s client base across Scotland
- Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries used within the Material Handling industry
- Working alongside other field-based engineers across Scotland to ensure maintenance is carried out efficiently
- Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
- Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer service
Requirements:
- This role would suit an experienced battery engineer that has previously spent time working in the field, but this is not essential.
- The company would also be interested in speaking with candidates who have an electrical SVQ Level 3 or equivalent whilst having strong interpersonal skills.
- You will ideally be based across the central belt of Scotland but candidates further afield will be considered.
Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary up to £32.5k (depending on experience)
- Bonus scheme
- Overtime paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday, double time on Sunday
- Company van
- 37.5hr working week
