A leading supplier of industrial batteries and related products is looking to bring on a Field Service Engineer to work within their Motive Power division, covering the client base across Scotland. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this would be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background working on Forklift Batteries.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing the company’s client base across Scotland and Northern England on occasion
- Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries and chargers used within the Material Handling industry
- Working alongside the other field-based engineers across Scotland to ensure maintenance is carried out efficiently
- Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
- Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer service
Requirements:
- A strong background of maintaining batteries within the Motive Power industry
- Suitable qualifications such as an NVQ, Diploma or similar
- Based in the Central Belt of Scotland or very nearby
- Willing to travel around the whole of Scotland with occasional trips into Northern England
