A leading manufacturer of pallet shuttle systems is seeking a field service/commissioning engineer to work with clients across the UK. With a great benefits package and earning potential through overtime, this could be a good opportunity for either an experienced engineer with a background working in Automation or Material Handling systems.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing a client base across the UK fixing 2-way and 4-way pallet shuttle systems
- Carrying out both routine preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance
- Installing & commissioning pallet shuttle systems for both new and existing clients nationally
- Conducting both mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Providing remote technical support for clients as and when required
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
Requirements:
- The company has a preference for an individual with a background in maintenance and commissioning of pallet shuttle systems; however, this is not essential.
- The company would also consider applicants that have worked on other automated/material handling equipment provided they have both mechanical and electrical skills and hold relevant qualifications.
- It would also be highly preferable that you hold an ECS Card.
- It is a requirement for the role that you hold a full, clean driver’s license.
- You will ideally be based in Warwickshire or within reasonable commutable distance.
- There will be an expectation to travel nationally and stay overnight as and when required.
