Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, global automation provider who are seeking a business development manager to sell their ASRS systems across the UK. With a strong basic salary and bonus, this is a great opportunity for an individual to join a business with a strong reputation in their sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop business on a national basis by working with end users, integrators and third party providers
- Work with partner managers of the manufacturer to assist customers effectively
- Be a product specialist in relation to ASRS systems
- Provide simulations with customers in order to aid in winning new business on various size projects travelling nationally
- Attend various industry exhibitions and events
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally be a project sales focused professional from within the automation sector. It is highly preferable that you will be a product specialist in relation to mobile automation and ideally have strong experience of ASRS, AGVs or AMRs. Individuals from outside of automation may be considered but will need to show a high level of commercial acumen and strong experience from the intralogistics sector. The company are seeking an individual who can seek new business successfully and require someone to be highly consultative in order to win large projects. The role also requires national travel.
