A leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment is looking to onboard a new Site Engineer to maintain a fleet of trucks on a customer site in Newport. Responsibilities:
- Servicing a fleet of Material Handling equipment on a customer site in Newport focusing on forklift trucks.
- Fixing and servicing other, related & specialist equipment as and when required.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way on customer site.
- Adhering to both the company’s and customer’s health & safety policies whilst working on site.
- Reporting back to the team leaders and service manager in the region.
Requirements:
- The company has a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background due to the requirements of the role, however this is not essential.
- They will also consider candidates with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar.
- You will be able to work well on your own, as this will be a standalone position, whilst being able to develop your skillset and learn as you go.
- In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Newport.
