A leading manufacturer of racking and storage solutions is looking to recruit a new Trade/Distribution Manager to continue to build and develop trade relationships. With a competitive package and scope for growth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced racking individual or related industry sales, admin or customer service focused professional seeking a new and exciting challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Building on existing trade/distribution relationships within the racking & storage sector
- Managing a large number of incoming enquiries by prioritising the workload effectively
- Reading autoCAD drawings
- Providing quotes and processing incoming orders, liaising with the factory, arranging deliveries and dealing with any issues
- Managing an existing client base of racking trade accounts across the UK
- Providing strong technical support to distributors seeking to buy a variety of racking, shelving and storage products
- Developing weekly, monthly and annual sales plans and forecasts
Requirements:
- The company ideally requires an individual with previous racking experience, though individuals with a strong technical understanding may also be considered.
- Racking & storage experience is not essential; the client is open-minded to individuals from other backgrounds in trade/distribution sales, admin or customer service.
- You will be highly resilient and proactive in your approach and enjoy the sales process.
- Experience of reading CAD is preferred but not essential; a background in selling a technical product or service would be highly advantageous.
