A fast growing provider of specialist autonomous robotics software and equipment is seeking a dynamic solutions engineer to act as the company’s primary technical presence on customer sites. With an excellent package on offer, this is a great opportunity for a systems engineer with a background in robotics and hands-on experience with CAN bus protocols and API integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the integration of the business’s product range into customers’ fleets of AGVs and AMRs across the UK and Europe.
  • Serving as the company’s primary technical presence on site, ensuring the customers achieve full safety compliance using the company’s systems.
  • Advising on the integration of the company’s system offerings inclusive of CAN bus topology, wiring schematics and API integration.
  • Conducting design reviews and site surveys throughout the sales process.
  • Giving technical product walkthroughs and providing technical support to customers across the UK and Europe.
  • Creating relevant reports, guides and documentation for both customer and internal use.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within robotics and practical experience with CAN bus protocols and API integration.
  • Consideration will be given to individuals who have experience of integrating systems in a different industrial setting, provided they still have CAN bus/API hands-on experience.
  • Location: You can be based anywhere in the UK but there will be an expectation to travel nationally and into Europe.
  • It is essential that you hold a full UK driver’s license.
