ALEXANDER JAMES RECRUITING is currently working with an industry leading supplier of industrial cleaning equipment that are looking to bring on a field engineer to cover the West Midlands. With a competitive package and overall working environment, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer working in the industry or within a similar industry such as Material Handling.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance on industrial cleaning equipment for a customer base across the West Midlands and further afield when required.
- Working on a wide range of different types of machinery from vacuum cleaners to municipal machines.
- Developing a strong technical understanding of the company’s product range.
- Collaborating with the senior technician and the rest of the service department to ensure that repairs are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicating with customers and representing the company in a businesslike manner when on site.
Requirements:
- The company has a strong preference for an individual with a background in working on industrial cleaning or material handling equipment; however, this is not essential. They will also consider applicants from something closely related such as Commercial Vehicles, Agriculture or Heavy Plant provided you have experience working in industrial type settings.
- It is essential that you present yourself in a professional manner and are able to maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times.
- In terms of location, you will need to be based in the West Midlands since the bulk of the customer base will be in this area.
Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £40,000 (Depending on experience).
