Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of material handling, automation & robotics equipment, seeking an experienced Software Solutions Specialist. With a competitive basic salary and overall package, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Specialist with Warehouse Management Systems experience interested in joining a global organization who are at the forefront of warehouse technology.
Responsibilities
- Leading the configuration, deployment, and support of company specific WMS platforms alongside the integration of WMS with customer ERP systems and digital tools.
- Collaborating with internal sales, engineering, and customer teams to define software requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Troubleshooting software issues and providing face-to-face technical support during both the implementation and post-deployment phases.
- Testing and validating solutions and certifying the conformity of those solutions as part of remit/presentation to sales teams/customers.
- Liaising with project managers, ensuring costs are tracked and managed and time keeping is recorded through company tracking tools.
- Facilitating demonstrations at company demo centres or on customer sites to promote technical offering.
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with a software or solutions focused background within Intralogistics. This isn’t essential however; they would also consider candidates with backgrounds in automation/robotics working in other industries. It is essential for the requirements of the role that you have extensive experience of working with C#. You will be an individual who is capable of working autonomously as the role will be home based and requires national travel. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere across the UK.
