A leading supplier of Commercial Vehicles is seeking a Technician to carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections at their depot in Wiltshire. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician or someone who is recently qualified looking to get into a role with an industry-leading supplier.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and preparation of Commercial Vehicles for onward delivery to clients across the UK.
- Working on both trucks and vans as and when required.
- Fitting specialist ancillary equipment for vehicles such as tail lifts.
- Diagnosing issues with products and conducting repairs to ensure that all safety and performance standards are met.
- Prioritising tasks so that customers’ expectations are met, and the workshop’s efficiency is maintained.
- Working closely with the rest of the workshop team and the Manager.
Requirements:
- You will ideally have experience of carrying out pre-delivery inspections on Commercial Vehicles such as trucks, vans, buses, coaches or lorries. This isn’t essential; our client will also consider Commercial Vehicle Mechanics who have a desire to move into inspections.
- Another option would be a candidate with a similar background within the Automotive industry or another similar industry.
- You will need to be based within commutable distance of Westbury, Wiltshire.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary dependent on experience (Up to £33,000).
- Overtime paid at time ½ over 40 hours.
- 4 X death in Service.
- 20 days holiday plus an extra day for birthday.
- Mon to Fri – 8am to 4.30pm.
