Alexander James Recruiting is on the lookout for a high-performing Social Media Specialist with a fervour for sport and a knack for creating standout content. This remote role, with occasional office visits, is perfect for an A-player eager to make a significant impact at a well-established & global niche provider of sporting goods. The successful candidate will be a willing individual able to go out of their way to add value and take full autonomy for helping the business grow its already strong engagement.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Lead day-to-day content creation and execution across key platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Real-Time Engagement: React swiftly to key sporting moments with relevant, engaging content, out of hours when required
- Boost audience engagement, community interaction, and brand awareness in measurable ways.
- Bring new ideas, creative strategies, and data-informed decisions to the table. Take ownership and responsibility for the social media function.
- Track performance, analyse insights, and continually optimise for reach and impact
Requirements
You must be a high performer within the Social Media space, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You will have worked across various social media platforms and have evidence of success in creating strong engagement. It is crucial you’re a sport fanatic with a keen interest and passion for sport as a whole and be willing to react to sporting events as and when they happen in order to create engaging posts for the business. You will ideally have worked in a sporting capacity either within marketing or similar though this is not essential. The role comes with a competitive salary and bonus opportunity and our client is seeking an individual who can rise to the challenge and commit fully to this position. The rewards will be there for the individual who works hard and adds business value. You can in theory be based anywhere in the UK though you must be prepared to travel to the office ideally once a week or possibly once a fortnight though this can be discussed.
