A leading manufacturer and integrator of Warehouse Automation products is looking to bring on a Robotics Design Engineer to work on projects for clients across the UK. This is a great opportunity for a qualified mechanical engineer with experience working in a comparable role within a closely affiliated industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating detailed designs to meet customer’s Warehouse Robotics specifications ready for translation into engineering solutions using AutoCAD software.
  • Carrying out all related calculations and risk assessments to ensure that all designs align with technical and safety requirement standards.
  • Conducting thorough analysis in order to validate all designs.
  • Working closely with the sales, projects and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing all relevant documentation when required.
  • Attending sites nationally as and when required.

Requirements:

  • A strong mechanical design background working within Warehouse Robotics is preferred, but candidates with mechanical design experience in capital equipment or other types of automation with strong AutoCAD skills will also be considered.
  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification is vital for the role.
  • Must be based within commutable distance of the office in Nottingham, as there will be an expectation to work from the office.
  • A full UK driver’s license is required due to the expectation to travel to customer sites around the country.
