A fast growing provider of various racking and storage solutions is looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager to cover and develop their client base across the UK, working on high level, semi and fully automated projects. With excellent, uncapped commission opportunities and scope for growth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced capital equipment sales professional.
Responsibilities:
- Managing an existing client base across the South of England.
- Business development across the same area with a key focus on mid to large size projects, including semi and fully automated warehouse projects.
- Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for racking, storage, barriers and shelving.
- Work within a team that includes a business development manager and project manager.
- Providing a consultative sales approach to win new business in the sale of racking, storage & warehouse automation solutions.
- Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth.
Requirements:
- Our client seeks highly commercial, well presented individuals from within racking, storage, warehouse automation or a related warehousing sphere.
- They may consider professionals from another sector, provided they fit the criteria and have the ability to adapt to a solution sell often with complex high level racking projects.
- The successful individual will be driven and possess a high level of emotional intelligence.
