A well-established supplier of various types of materials handling and lifting equipment is looking for a new sales professional to service their end users. Due to recent expansion, the company now requires a capable individual to manage and develop their client base across the North of England. With excellent commission potential and a focus on existing business, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional seeking a role within a niche sector.
Responsibilities:
- Managing an existing client base across the North of England.
- Developing this client base further through visiting clients from leads generated by the business and assessing each lead.
- Qualifying incoming leads and enquiries prior to visiting customer sites.
- Consulting clients on various equipment including pallet trucks, stackers, portable cranes, lifting tables, and various other material handling & lifting equipment.
- Providing detailed quotations on bespoke projects in relation to lifting equipment and related products and services.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with capital equipment and providing a solution sell is essential.
- Ideally, you will have sold lifting equipment or material handling before in an industrial setting.
- You will be proactive in your approach and have the ability to build long-term relationships and work on projects successfully.
- The role provides excellent commission opportunities for the right candidate with uncapped commission based on revenue.
- Although the role covers the whole of the North of England, it requires assessing customer requirements and is not a door-knocking type sales role.
- There is flexibility on where this individual is based, though a professional across the Midlands, the North West, or Yorkshire would be preferable.
